Overview

Why Attend

Energy is one of the few facilities costs a building keeps paying whether it's used well or wasted entirely — the meter doesn't know the difference. Energy Management is what makes that difference matter, turning a fixed monthly bill into a controllable variable that reflects how deliberately a building is actually run.

That control comes from specifics: identifying where energy efficiency gains are realistic rather than theoretical, negotiating and tracking utilities with real oversight, and following frameworks like ISO 50001 to keep improvement systematic instead of one-off. The Energy Management for Buildings and Sustainable Facilities Operations training course, equips facilities professionals to manage energy as a core operational discipline, not an occasional cost-cutting exercise.

Participants leave able to audit energy use critically, build improvement plans grounded in real data, and connect energy decisions directly to broader building performance and sustainability goals.
