Interpersonal Skills and Self Development
By Charles J. Tawk - Senior Consultant - Smart Training & Consulting
Many dietitians and health consultants recommend for their patients to detox their bodies, by providing them with a diversity of customized recipes. Detoxifying, now commonly known as detoxing, is the process of chasing out the many toxic substances that our bodies are consuming. What you may not know, is that our mind can also be attacked by toxins such as negative feelings, emotions and thoughts that may affect our judgements, behaviors and relations. I am not a dietician or a physician, yet I can provide you with seven practical steps that I tried myself and that can help cleanse your mind, body and soul and, as a result, your life.
Just because you had a hard yesterday, doesn’t mean that today will be similar. Every new day offers boundless opportunities, like meeting new people who can energize your life. It is up to you to choose how you want your day to be. If you had a bad day in the recent past, you could repeat what happened and live the tragedy again, or learn from it and consider this new day a new opportunity to grab life and appreciate the moment. Be positive and everything else will slowly fall into place, and you will perhaps become the reason for other people’s happiness.
